• For starters I edited the background noise out of my audio recording.
• I edited pauses throughout my recording to split it up from cut to cut.

Purpose:
I made this audio recording so that people, who learn better through listening, can get the right directions on how to make a pizza.

Enhancements:

• Due to the fact that there were so many people recording at once, I removed the background noise.
• At times, there were pauses that were too long so I reduced them from 3 seconds to 2 seconds.
• I also increased the pitch to certain words to create the effect of having two people so it would be easier to understand. 
• I used the fade-in and fade-out modification, although I'm not sure if it did anything to enhance the audio.

I wanted to teach everybody how to cook, but since I'm no good at cooking I decided to tell everyone how to many a great tasting Penut Butter and Jelly Sandwich.

Purpose:
The purpose of this recording is to show you that I did learn how to do this.  The recording is 'Ten steps to Success" and it could be used as instructional, educational or motivational audio recording. 


Enhancements:

• I took out the white noise by using the noise removal tool.
• I added two second pauses after each segement and one second pauses after each number and after the 'title' of the step.  This gives the listener time to process what is being said.
• I changed the pitch on each number that I said.  This was fun and it gives the audio a little pep.
• I attempted to change the volume on a few of the segments. 
• I did not add sound effects to this one because I did not have any to add.  I wanted too though.  I think the sound effects are fun and really add to the audio.

Purpose:
I created this audio as an example of using audio recordings for a beginning Japanese class.  This is supposed to be a supplemental material for students to review the new phrases that they learned in class.

Enhancements:

• There was too much background noise and I couldn't hear the narration clearly, so I removed background noise to improve the sound quality and signal-to-noise ratio.  
• I also removed all the irrelevant sounds (spot noises) that were accidentally recorded as they didn't pertain to the purpose of the recording. 
• It was too loud and started cracking on the louder segments, so I adjusted the volume. 
• I added 1-2 second pauses to add the organizational structure. 
• I also changed the pitch of some segments to create an illusion of two different voices. I did it to add the organizational structure. 
• I added one second sound effects to add cues to signify transitions.
